INTRO: (00:00) It is almost Christmas, so we are spending our 10K days in holiday-themed destinations. We have a guest googler this week, but he is so important that he isn't here yet.
OBSESSIONS: (4:20) Alison is obsessed with her new Insignia 4-port USB hub...shout out to our Patreon supporters for helping with that equipment upgrade! Lulu is obsessed with lip balm. WISHLIST: (7:06) Alison is on an electronics kick as this week she is wishing for a rechargeable battery case for her iPhone. Lulu is wishing for a statement ring.
GUEST GOOGLER WELCOME: (12:16) Alison and Lulu welcome Sean MacLaughlin into the room. Alison is enamored with his sexy baritone voice, but Lulu asks her to just not because Sean is her cousin. They only recently learned they were related, after a family feud a few generations back disconnected sides of the family. Sean calls it "a feature film waiting to happen".
ALISON’S 10K DAY - SANTA CLAUS, INDIANA: (21:35) Alison brings 19 friends to the Lincoln Pines Lakefront Resort. Instead of a car service, Alison rents sleighs and reindeers for the day. Breakfast and festive mini-golf at Frosty’s Fun Center is followed by a visit to the Santa Claus Museum & Village. Alison takes a Winter Scenery Train Ride, then heads to the Santa Claus Christmas Store to buy personalized 10K Holi-DAY ornaments as souvenirs.
LULU’S 10K DAY - ROVANIEMI, FINLAND: (33:50) Lulu stays at the Arctic Treehouse Hotel then has smoked salmon soup for breakfast at Cafebar. She heads to Santa Claus Village where you can walk a line that separates the Arctic circle from the rest of the world. She also visits the Santa Claus Post Office to mail 10K Dollar Day postcards designed for her by Jacob McAlister. Stops at Santa Park, Santa's Salmon Place, and Arctic Design Shop, then a dinner with a private chef at Rakas. She may have ordered reindeer...
