Seavey, along with Media & Communications Chairman David F. Wallace of Virginia, South Dakota Department Service Officer Courtney VanZanten and Ashley’s husband, National Guard Sgt. Robert Maldonado, a member from Post 180 in Vienna, Va. traveled the 26.2 mile course. The podcast team followed the progress of the ruck crew, as well as catching up with other members of the Legion Family who participated and volunteered in the event. Learn about what led Bobby into the Army and how they prepared for what would ultimately be the hottest war action involving the United States since the conflict in Vietnam. While still maintaining his charm and positivity, Bobby is a changed man since host Kirk Ross last talked with him,  and today's first part of a two-part series will frame the context for what's happened since to him over the last eighteen years.
