Good to catch up solo with one half of FourFive CBD, one of my best mates, Dom Day.

What a Career - Wales, Saracens, Melbourne Rebels, Toyota Verblitz, Bath and the Scarlets. RWC15, 6 Nations, European Cups and Premiership wins. 

Loved getting in to what makes Dom tick, and feel more players should experience what the world has to offer Rugby players around the globe.

What a guy. I absolutely love the fact that the Parkes family give their absolute all for every team, culture & family they have been part of, but also take every opportunity to enjoy what Rugby & its surroundings have to offer, away from the white lines. 

Here's a guy that played with broken bones and injuries for the red of Wales and Scarlets, learned the anthem, bought in to the culture & gave his absolute all at every chance. Now enjoying the culture & rugby that Japan has to offer, his journey into pro rugby was different, but I think that's made him the player/guy he is!

Great chat with JT - He's a funny bloke and easy to see why he's a popular squad member whether that's at the Blues, the Scarlets before, or with Wales. 

Absolutely loves the gritty side of the game, and has a brilliant attitude to training, life, and coaching. He also loves the social side of the game - playing because he loves it, and playing harder after working hard...

Very funny catch up. Aled has been there and done it. Playing in the Top Leagues across 3 countries, with a career spanning some of the biggest clubs in Rugby,. We chat about the 4 regions, 7s, his time in France and England (Including his first day at Biarritz ;)), making the wrong decisions but also making peace with them, his Wales Career, and much more. 

Funny. Down to earth. Good choice in Italian Restaurants.

Josh Helps was raised in West Wales and his rugby skills have enabled him to play Lock for the Scarlets (https://www.scarlets.wales) in Llanelli. He talks about his career so far and about the effect that the coronavirus pandemic has had on the game.

Loved catching up with my old pal Lee Byrne. His positivity and desire to win, despite having some setbacks in life, is inspiring, and I love he's giving back now with his work around Dyslexia, post Rugby. 

Some career on the field - Lions 09, Wales, World Cups, Scarlets, Ospreys and Dragons, and a great stint at Clermont too (Not forgetting Bridgend Athletic ;)

And some headlines off it too, but he doesn't regret a thing...

Good catching up with The Sheriff a few weeks ago, back in training as the season almost resumes. He chats about life in Carmarthen, what it means to be a Scarlet, enjoying his time with Wales, and his Lions experiences. Funny, dry, unassuming, and a great lad!

When we sat down, I was expecting a chat about rugby careers and funny stories...What I got was a man looking to open up about the reality of his world then and now;

- Stinky, the fun loving Rugby player people knew from the Dragons, Scarlets, Wales, and having those heart attacks.

- Rhys Thomas, the man fighting drink and drug addictions, a family man who lost his way, and who's building the foundations of a better life.

Great to have a virtual beer with Stodds - From grassroots through the PRemiership, Scarlets and Wales. His career was cut short due to horrific injuries, and then had to deal with Testicular Cancer too. 

To beat that and help raise £££££'s for charity over the years, shows the type of guy he is, whilst still working and coaching.
