Was This The Most Haunted Pub In America? Scarlett O'Hara's In St. Augustine, Florida.

Nestled on the northeast coast of Florida, St. Augustine proudly claims its title as the oldest city in the U.S. With its charming Spanish colonial architecture and stunning Atlantic Ocean beaches such as St. Augustine Beach and Crescent Beach, it's no wonder this city has captivated the hearts of many, including us. We've had the pleasure of visiting this remarkable place on numerous occasions.

One notable establishment in St. Augustine was Scarlett O'Hara's, a pub situated at 70 Hypolita St. Sadly, the business was forced to close its doors when it lost its lease and the building changed hands. Scarlett O'Hara's was not only a pub but also known as the Ghost Bar, renowned for being one of the most haunted pubs in Florida, and perhaps even in all of America.

The original building at 70 Hypolita St. has a storied history, dating back to its construction in 1870. It's also rumored to be home to two restless spirits. Join Psycho Bob and Shaner as they geek-out over Marvel's GI Joe issue #21, the Silent Interlude. The issue has no dialogue, word bubbles, or onomatopoeia and was published in March 1984 the Writer and Penciller was Larry Hama. 

It stars Snake Eyes, one of GI Joes most iconic bad asses, who is mute.  This is the introduction of the Cobra assassin, Storm Shadow. He kidnaps a member of GI Joe; Scarlett and takes her to the Balkans to Destro's castle.

Had you heard of Ms. Marvel until Kevin Feige announced the show? No? 

In today's episode Codey & Rob go over all of the foundations built in the comic books for Kamala Khan and the cast of characters around her. If you would like a primer on the following things, tune into this episode:

Episode 11 is comin' at ya hot!  Amanda's son Levi is turning 1 this week and has taken his first steps!  Also, Ashley's son Eli turned 2 and had his party...which was a bit of a disaster.  Ashley had a good time this weekend while Amanda's weekend was...well...let's just not so good.  In our Spill the Tea, Ashley talks about Elon Musk buying Twitter?!?!  And Amanda talks about Benedict Cumberbatch and his good deed for Ukraine.  In our Go Off, Ashley wants to know why people have to judge her for what a 2 year old does and Amanda wants to know why people think they can get retail prices for their items at a garage sale?!?!  Really, people?!?!  In Why Are We Like This, Amanda wants to know why the Dollar Spot has a SUPER mega hold on her and Ashley wants to know why the struggle is real with Perfect Party Pressure.  Our topic this week is one EVERYONE is talking about...the Johnny Depp/Amber Heard trial!!  SO MUCH GOOD STUFF in that topic.  Like Mega Pints.  And poopy beds.  In our That's what I Like, Amanda discusses her love of Chick-Fil-A...again...and Ashley talks about the all-so-versatile cauliflower rice!

Und da wären wir auch schon: Das Finale von RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 6 ist hier! Einerseits verging diese Staffel wie im Flug, andererseits fühlt es sich an als würden wir diese Queens schon das ganze Jahr über begleiten. Doch jetzt haben wir die finalen Vier und nur eine kann gewinnen. Wer das ist, entscheidet die letzte Challenge, eine Strophe zu dem neuen Country Song „This Is Our Country“ zu schreiben, zu singen und live zu performen. Beim All Star Hall of Fame Eleganza Extravaganza Runway zeigen sich alle nochmal von ihrer besten Seite, bis es dann schließlich zum großen Lip Sync um die Krone geht. Am Ende haben wir einen neuen Champion. Wer das ist, und wie Geeo und Max das Finale und die Staffel fanden, erfahrt ihr natürlich hier bei The Gayze.

Mit großer Freude können wir verkünden: Unsere griechische Lieblingstante ist zurück! Nach drei Folgen ist Geeo wieder dabei und er kommt nicht allein, denn auch der Special Guest Host Martin gesellt sich in dieser Episode von The Gayze dazu. Zusammen mit Max entsteht so die dreifache Reviewpower. Gebraucht wird diese für die vorletzte Folge von All Stars 6, in der sich entscheidet, wer in das große Finale einzieht, diesmal aber auch wirklich. In dem größten Lip Sync Turnier der Seriengeschichte müssen alle bisher ausgeschiedenen Kandidatinnen Runde für Runde gegeneinander antreten, von der First Out bis zur kürzlich Eliminierten. Am Ende triumphiert eine Queen, die zurückkehren darf und wieder eine Chance auf die Krone von RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 6 hat. Dafür hat Max sich die beiden Gäste der letzten Folgen, Nils und Frederick, nun zusammen an seine Seite geholt.  Drei Hosts, acht Lip Syncs, eine Siegerin und eine Menge kontroverser Meinungen. Let’s Gooooooo!!

Noch fünf Queens kämpfen um die Krone bei RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 6 und für die heutige Herausforderung müssen sie sich in komplett neue Drag Persönlichkeiten verwandeln, die in der ganz unsuptil beworbenen Cartoon Serie „Drag Tots“ mitspielen könnten. Eine Queen ist dabei der Breakout Star, alle anderen müssen um ihre weitere Besetzung bangen. Für diese besondere Challenge erhält Geeo eine wunderbare Urlaubsvertretung, denn der zertifizierte Sewing-Competition-Super-Fan Frederick gesellt sich zu Max in dieser Episode von The Gayze. Zusammen nehmen sie die Outfits ganz genau unter die Lupe und wer weiß, vielleicht wird beim Lip Sync endlich der größte Wunsch eines Hosts erfüllt. Das dürft ihr nicht verpassen!
