    Aliens (1986): "Billsy TwosWeeks"

    Aliens (1986): "Billsy TwosWeeks"

Which came first, the alien or the egg? Alien (1979) may have raised that question, but Aliens (1986) takes the investigation a step further as they tack on an S and get into the plurals. And boy are we getting into the plurals. This August, we’re all aliens all the time here at Spooky Tuesday, and when we came up with the idea for Alien Month, we knew we’d have to blast off with a bang. That’s why we’re heading back to deep space with the long-awaited Sigourney Weaver sequel as we pick up just about where we left off (give or take 57 years).

"Fifth Element (1997)" - Technicolor Science Fiction perfection.

Bright, bold, ambitious and so narratively tight you couldn't fit a postcard in between the plot points. This movie was, and still is, sheer perfection. A shining example of the sincere ambition that we love so much in 90s movies so, naturally, we had to gush about it for an hour. Kate joined in the fun!

But before we prevent Judgment Day, this week, we head back to the year 1984, where it all began with the original sci-fi action horror classic, The Terminator, to find out if it’s still pure nightmare fuel having an unstoppable cyborg from the future after you and what would you do to stop it.

So come travel across time with us and join the Resistance against the machines as we find out just how terrifying the 1984 original Terminator still is today!!

    “I’ll Be Back!”
