We catch up on Daniel's ProductHunt debut of TelemetryDeck (https://telemetrydeck.com/?source=wfr). Dave inches closer to releasing GoVJ 2 as he uses some time off from his day-job to bug-fix, and clean things up. We discuss automated testing. Daniel quizzes Dave on how he approaches automated testing in his day-job vs his solo indie app endeavours. How much is too much for a solo developer? What's a good depth of testing for different sizes of project and team? Enjoy the show, Dave ✨ and Daniel 🚀 If you're interested in checking GoVJ 2 out, WFR users can use this public link: TestFlight (https://testflight.apple.com/join/cnOKvnBG) Links: * Daniel's blog post on screenshot testing (https://blog.winsmith.de/english/ios/2020/04/14/xcuitest-screenshots.html) * TelemetryDeck on ProductHunt (https://www.producthunt.com/posts/telemetrydeck) * TelemetryDeck (https://telemetrydeck.com/?source=wfr) * Waiting For Review (https://www.waitingforreview.com) * davidgarywood.com (https://davidgarywood.com) Twitter * David Gary Wood on Twitter (https://twitter.com/davidgarywood) * Daniel Jilg on Twitter (https://twitter.com/breakthesystem) * WFRPodcast (https://twitter.com/wfrpodcast) Special Guests: Mimi, Momo, and Monty.

    Dat soun Kinda Private

    Dat soun Kinda Private

Privacy is essential to who we are as human beings, and we make decisions about it every single day. It gives us a space to be ourselves without judgement, allows us to think freely without discrimination, and is an important element of giving us control over who knows what about us.

However, often times we don't realise when we are  over sharing and we often breach our own privacy. Our guest, Shanik Ramson, sat with us today to discuss and explain even more why it is important to keep some things private.

Ep.057 Greg @ Espehon & Oscar ---- How to pi

Ep.057 Greg @ Espehon & Oscar ---- How to pi

So I finally got to sit-down with Greg (@espehon), AKA the master of who set up my raspberry pi with Linux, ubuntu and what not. He teaches me how to use pi more accurately, and more of its capabilities. how much more free you are to as you wish with it. But it is a lot easier to erase everything and anything in it if not careful.

My camera got "Hot", and there was absolutely nothing I could do. But no matter the show must go on.

    The Old Alt+Shift+5 | AwesomeCast 417
This week’s episode brought to you by Comic Book Pitt, Slice on Broadway, and Alex Kahrs Design & Media! It was rather fortuitous that Brian Crawford of the River's Edge happened into the studio on Podcast Day. What better than to get him set up with Sorg and Chilla as we talk this week's tech news, including:
    • Chilla is sharing the Ring video doorbell as his Awesome Thing of the Week.
    • Chilla is talking about the Ring doorbell depth sensor.
    • We're discovering the networking opportunities with the Ring video doorbell.
    • Brian is sharing his Fire TV Cube as his Awesome Thing of the Week.
    • Brian is also sharing the Ignite Pro bluetooth PA system as an extra Awesome Thing of the Week.
    • Sorg's Awesome Thing of the Week is gaming related with some Twitch updates.
    • Project Rush is now Premiere Rush.
    • There's a sweet Mario Kart bar in Toronto.
    • WIRED + Apple TV = A new way to watch WIRED content.
    • Have some screenshots you're trying to clean up and fit into product demos on every Apple device? Someone has created a shortcut just for you!
    • Chilla is talking about some interesting recipe shortcut scripts you can run on your devices.
    • Have an Apple device? Their original shows may be free, as long as you're using the TV App.
    • Chilla is impressed with Apple device parental control options. He's looking for Android to step their game up.
