We do not have to look at social media for very long to realize that our world is in desperate need of Gracious Communication. The way that we communicate with each other has a strong influence on our relationships. If we are not kind in our communications, it is likely that the relationship is not good. Communication is important to God. In the opening chapters of Genesis, we see God speaking. The bible says that we are made in God’s image, and communication is one of the characteristics of that. More than a way to speak to each other, it is also a way to interact with God. Speech and communications, being a gift from God, is something to use carefully. When we use this gift to harm or destroy, we misuse God’s gift.
