We live in a broken and fallen world. Thus, temptation to sin is inevitable. It is all around us. That does not mean, though, that God winks at it or takes temptation or sin lightly. Nor does He let us off the hook easily when others sin against us. If we are sinned against, it is our responsibility as a Christian to forgive that person.

With every rotation of our world, time moves on. We get older, wiser and prayerfully stronger. Anyone who claims allegiance to Jesus Christ should be looking for ways to “get more faith”. This morning we listen to Jesus as He teaches us what it means to have faith and how we can increase it. Sermon Notes @ http://bible.com/events/79896

Jesus returns to instructing His Disciples about how they are to conduct themselves as His followers. The emphasis in this passage is specifically about their responsibility to help each other walk and grow in holiness, purity, and the exercise of faith. There are very real threats to the life faith - temptations that can not only lead us into sin, but can shipwreck our faith. Woe to the person, who is the result of another turning away from the faith. This pressure exists from outside the Church, but we must also be on our guard against false teaching within the Church - teaching that can turn a person away from true faith.
