Worship call 1006 Building the Indictment - 2024/01/23
The Lord has taken the religious leaders to the woodshed with the curses, the woes, that he had rebuked them with. Jesus did not cushion his words. He was not soft spoken, nor did he speak as one who was trying to win friends and influence people. The Logos, the word, which is sharper than any two-edged sword, did its dividing and exposed the intent of the heart.
Was this a merciful call to the religious leaders to repent. That the truth is so exposed, that those men could come to see clearly and be convicted and change their minds?
Or was this provocation, to stir up the anger of those who are already surrendered to do the will of Satan in order to expedite the evil plans of Satan to get Jesus to calvary where the greatest victory will be won by Jesus.
