Repentance, hope, transformation, covenantal God - who God is in the end., we break the covenant and he renews it.
Our one hope moving forward is not how good we are at transformation, but how good God is at bringing us back.
It’s not up to us. By the way, the Israelites kept breaking the covenant. Base our hope and transformation on his goodness, not our discipline.
God who keeps his covenants, and Jesus who came to renew the covenant between us and God. Hope is not in the commitment itself, Israel breaks it. Hope is in Christ.
