Indie Authors: It's Time to Aspire for More

Indie Authors: It's Time to Aspire for More
Now that all of the 2023 writers' conferences I planned on attending are over, there's a bit of melancholy setting in. To shake it off, I've been revisiting the speeches I gave and all of the experiences I've gone through. It occurred to me that since the Idaho Writers Guild Conference wasn't recorded, my first speech at that conference might be the perfect thing to lift us all up. In today's podcast episode, I'm sharing my Aspire For More speech I gave at the Idaho Writer's Guild Conference in May 2023. Because this conference wasn't recorded, I wanted another way for this message to reach our indie author community. Listen now! ALETHEA GONE GOOD

    ALETHEA GONE GOOD
Alethea Kehas started listening to her inner-voice and her life changed forever. Look, we're all stressed out, right? The last two years have been a shit show (how's that for World Gone Good positive language?). Alethea's stress may have happened a few years prior, but we can all relate to the headache or the migraine or the stomach problems. She decided to make a change, a mindset change, and it reverberated through her and healed her physically. Powerful stuff, the mind, heart and gut, donchathink? We talk about this, her practicing and teaching yoga and reiki, as well as her work as an author with two books published. And it all comes back to one common good thread: Listening - and trusting - our inner-voice.

Why All Indie Authors Should Aim to Be Millionaires

Why All Indie Authors Should Aim to Be Millionaires
Manifestation can feel like this nebulous thing... Like you have to somehow be "good enough" to bring what you really want into your life. But what if I told you, it can be easy? In fact, there are just 3 steps. In today's episode, I'm discussing not only why I think indie authors should stop playing small and aim for their millionaire author destiny, but also, how to make it happen. Have a listen! Visual Storyteller Ashwin Chacko

    Visual Storyteller Ashwin Chacko

When Ashwin moved from India to Ireland, it was more than just his surroundings that changed.

At first he took any design work he could get. Then he decided to focus on being an illustrator.
But the pandemic allowed him to pause and focus further. He wanted to be a visual storyteller spreading positivity and joy.

His self initiated (and even self published) side projects brought that to life.
They showed the work. Now they bring him work.

Embracing an abundance mentality is bringing him - and us - plenty of joy for real.
