    Galatians 1:11-24 - Audio

    Galatians 1:11-24 - Audio
David Eldridge Paul's conversion on the road to Damascus was about as radical a conversion as any other in history. A man completely set on doing what He thought God wanted him to do, saw that he was actually working against what God was forming. His whole world was undone. One of the early Church's greatest persecutors became its greatest evangelist. Who in our lives have we lost hope in their ability to be saved and come to a place of repentance, like Paul did? What areas of our our own lives have we become hardened to the works of God?

Need For Grace | Galatians 1:1-5

Need For Grace | Galatians 1:1-5
Paul's introduction to his letter to the Galatians not only reminds us that Jesus is more than a mere man and the conqueror of death, but that grace and peace are ours in Him. He delivers us from the present evil age. Without some knowledge of Jewish thought, the concept is hard to grasp. It is the truth that the Galatians and all who doubt the wonder of grace need to understand.

    A Revelation - Audio

    A Revelation - Audio
Big Idea - What is the Gospel Paul preached and where did it come from? If it came by direct revelation how does it compare with what the other Apostles preached? Is it reliable and trustworthy? Paul is talking here about the source of the Gospel message he preached and proclaimed. It was not of human origin, or a tradition passed down to him from others. Rather, it was a direct revelation from God, of Jesus, as the risen Lord and Messiah who justifies sinners by His blood. Consequently, salvation is a matter of grace by faith, not a matter of keeping the law. So, salvation is for all who believe, Jew and Gentile alike, apart from keeping the law.
