God is sovereign, He rules over all that he has created. IN freedom the creature who has been given volition as a gift from God has had the freedom to worship and draw near to God, or to turn away from God in rebellion and in the darkness hate his creator. One day the Lovers and the Haters will all have to bow a knee and confess that he is the Lord when he takes his place as ruler over this earth.

Where will one be when the great and terrible day of the Lord comes in all of his Glory to Judge the living?

With the final Judgment every soul will be some place and that place will be compatible with the choice one made for the Savior.

Jesus teaches His disciples to be ready because no one knows exactly when the Parousia will occur. They should live in expectation, always prepared for His return.

regardless of the age leading to the coming of the king those calling upon the name of the Lord must keep their armor on.

Unbelief will lead to blindness within the generation who fails to see the season and therefore the coming of the Lord will leave them completely off guard.

I’ve heard very good teachings on the subject of the comparisons between the time of Noah and Lot to the way things are today. We could talk about the antediluvian period; Godlessness; homosexuality; the Nephilim; high technology; one world religion and government. Many things that are similar. These are historical and not just in the time of the tribulation but throughout history many of these things sprang up. How the days the events the setting all compare to the time in which we are living. I think it does preach. The subject would last us the next few days. The Comparisons are very interesting. But as it goes, Jesus sites only one thing. The swiftness by which Judgment will come.

Time is a grace commodity from God. For the believer is the opportunity to secure one’s relationship with the God of heaven through His son the Lord Jesus Christ. For the unbeliever it is the opportunity to hear the Gospel respond to it get on the grace train the leads to eternal life. Time is running out, when the grace train pulls in, the judgement train pulls in right behind it. What train will you be riding?
