    Ed Cronin is our guest. He has worked in the law enforcement field for over 35 years. His career includes experience as a Police Chief in two cities in Massachusetts. He holds a graduate degree in Criminal Justice Management and an advanced graduate degree in Organizational Development and Systems Thinking. 

    With 15 years of experience, he took courses at Queen’s College in Oxford, University, England as part of his Master’s program. During this time, he also worked with the Thames Valley Police exposing him to new ideas and methods of policing practices. He also enlisted and assisted in bringing the first group of US police officers to Russia after the fall of the Soviet Union in the early 1990s which was featured on National television. 

    He also has extensive international experience having worked in Cairo, Egypt at the U.S. Embassy as a police advisor and for three years as Sr. Police Advisor to the police of Moldova in Eastern Europe.

    Retired Homicide Sergeant Chris Anderson tells his amazing story. He shares his experience in policing and the realities of investigating murders and catching killers. Plus behind the scenes look at the television show Reasonable Doubt.

    Chris talks about his journey through police work, starting as a rookie street cop and then progressing to Homicide Detective and retiring at the rank of Sergeant.     Ryan Hendrickson is our guest, a retired U.S. Army Green Beret. Prior to enlisting in the Army, he served in the U.S. Navy and then the U.S. Air Force. While in the Army he became a member of the Elite Green Beret Special Forces and focused on Explosives Detection and Disposal. While deployed in Afghanistan in a combat zone he stepped on an Improvised Explosive Device and received devastating injuries. Ryan was set to have his leg amputated when he was approached with a new experimental limb-saving medical procedure, which he volunteered for.

    After a long rehabilitation process, he convinced the Army to allow him to stay in a light-duty role. He was able to find a way to return to a combat role and returned to complete several deployments to war zones. He started journaling his recovery and eventually used that as the outline for his book "Tip of the Spear: The Incredible Story of an Injured Green Beret's Return to Battle".

    As a young woman, she was abducted from a mall parking lot and raped. During the extremely violent attack, she was threatened with a deadly weapon. When the serial rapist eventually released his grip on her, she managed to escape. Running naked through woods and fields screaming for help. Janet tells us about the horrifying attack, her recovery from the trauma, and how it led her to help others as a law enforcement officer.

    Janet Teague has over three decades of serving in law enforcement. She is a retired sergeant with Montgomery County Sheriff's Department and now a chaplain with MCSO and Justice Court JP1. She is a minister with assemblies of God, and a co-pastor with faith-based Hope and Healing for Warriors Ministry.     Jeff Brown has had a long and distinguished law enforcement career. An incident involving drug abusers caused him and his backup deputies to be accidentally exposed to Fentanyl. The effects on them were immediate, had it not been for the department-issued Narcan and training they received, they all might have perished. However, the exposure caused permanent injuries to his heart.

    Mario talks about the shooting, and the out-of-body experiences he had during his medical treatment, that coincided with the reported clinical deaths. He also talks about his long physical and mental recovery, and the impacts it had on him and his family, from the extreme physical wounds and PTSD. He was left with paralysis from the waist down and eventually had both legs amputated.
