Summer is almost over! So it's the perfect time to discuss "Summer Camp" Movies!! Jarrell and Mitch review three movies that take place in a summer camp setting! Also they reminisce about going to summer camp themselves!

A few years ago Jarrell talked about when his parents forced him to go to military camp in 1992! It was a very entertaining and therapeutic episode you should definitely check out: Here's the link: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/summer-memories-part-one-summer-camp-8-2-20/id1340943391?i=1000487041538

Boy! This film was so much fun and it was essentially my first watch. I was in the perfect mood to watch such a fun, lighthearted story and the extraordinary fashion was a bonus!

I asked Charles about his history with this movie, the amazing casting, and we had a LONG chat about the fashion. Hint: It's slay after slay

off-topic rants: we recast this film with todays stars, my own Girl Scout history, smoking in the movies

Episode 214: Whine and "The Brady Bunch Movie"

Episode 214: Whine and "The Brady Bunch Movie"

Revamping an old favorite by making fun of the things that made it popular? Always a good idea. And "The Brady Bunch Movie" is the perfect example. The enduring power of "Sure, Jan" is a testament to how good this movie is. We pair it with an awesome Cabernet Sauvignon by Big Six that was aged in bourbon barrels. This is our second bourbon-aged wine on the show and we need more. They're so layered.

Movie Sync Notes: We watch the movie on Amazon Prime. We start "The Brady Bunch Movie" 4:46 into the pod, and push play on part two 53:31 into the pod.

    S03E01: Dreamscape

    S03E01: Dreamscape
QIF returns for what is probably the ur-Quaidiest season in the line-up, and we kick off the mid-to-late-'80s portion of Dennis Quaid's c.v. with Dreamscape, featuring a roguish semi-retired clairvoyant's journey into political dream disinformation. ...Look, it was the Reagan era; nightmares looked different back then. But is this thriller actually thrilling? Or are we too easily distracted by Val Kilmer vehicles of the same era; the melancholy death of Norm; "well meaning" special effects; and saxophones posing as character traits? Slap some 'trodes on your forehead; it's Quaid In Full's season premiere. S02E04: Caveman

    S02E04: Caveman
Is Caveman as bad as you've heard? Well, aside from Shelley Long, and a bit of business with the world's first fried egg...yes. Yes, it is. Ringo Starr's prehistoric journey to love features the invention of fire, mildewy dinosaur costumes, "Thus Spake Faux-rathustra," and a light dusting of that heap o' cocaine from the pitch meeting. Dennis Quaid's energetically Cats approach to the blocking is admirable...but how Quaid-y is this?
