    This week on the KitPlus TV News show we take a look at the latest updates on the upcoming event IBC, taking place on the 15 - 18 September in Amsterdam.

    Taking a look at the KitPlus pressroom we start with, Caton Technology (1:07) who will be showcasing its solutions for global IP connectivity at IBC2023. PHABRIX (1:49) will showcase an array of innovative new software features for its advanced Qx and QxL rasterizers and latest solution, the portable QxP waveform monitor. Broadcast Solutions (2:19) will bring two of its recently completed outside broadcast trucks.

    We are joined with Mr Mxf (3:19) who takes a look at the recent news from Emotion Systems, 'Emotion Systems continues to innovate audio at IBC2023' and the complexity of audio workflows.

    Profuz Digital (4:43), the specialist systems integration developer behind bespoke software solutions SubtitleNEXT, NEXT-TT and Profuz LAPIS platforms, will underline how these latest technologies boost quality and efficiency for broadcasters, production and post production at IBC. Shotoku Broadcast Systems (5:14) is heading to Amsterdam with the latest version of its TR-XT Touchscreen control system.

    Dot Group (5:44) will showcase its unique approach to faster data transfers and will demonstrate DataSprint, its solution for broadcast facilities and media supply chains, powered by IBM Aspera. Viaccess-Orca (6:20) will bring to focus the human side of technology to simplify video delivery and monetisation for TV operators and service providers. Newsbridge (6:51) will showcase groundbreaking new features for its patented AI video indexing technology MXT-1.

    manifold technologies (7:23) is introducing manifold CLOUD to the European market. arkona technologies (7:53) will introduce BLADE//runner FLOWS. FLOWS is a built-in tool that makes configuration of BLADE//runner systems a breeze with demonstrations on the stand. Ikegami Electronics (Europe) (8:24) will promote examples from its wide range of broadcast production cameras, controllers and monitors.

    Cobalt Digital (8:53) will present its highly anticipated UltraBlue IP-MV line of IP multiviewers, WAVE RTR 64x64 router line, optimised for 12G SDI, the new Pacific ULL Decoder, and a new 20-slot frame compatible with openGear. Zixi (9:37) will focus on how content creators and distributors can reach worldwide audiences using the Zixi Enabled Network of more than 1,000 media companies and 400 tech partners around the world.

    Clear-Com® (9:59) will showcase the latest advances in IP-based intercom for a wide variety of applications. The Audio Engineering Society (AES), Alliance for IP Media Solutions (AIMS), Advanced Media Workflow Association (AMWA), European Broadcasting Union (EBU), SMPTE®, and the Video Services Forum (VSF) has announced that the IP Showcase will return to IBC2023 in a brand-new format (10:51). 

    DHD audio (11:40) announces a new addition to its modular range of audio studio equipment and systems. Xytech Systems (12:30) will mark the next phase in the evolution of its Media Operations Platform™ by launching a new mobile-native interface.

    Previously we have seen the Rise of Hunter-gatherers in the Jomon and the development of food surpluses and the rise of social complexity through the Yayoi and Kofun, now we see the social-political organization make further developments as Buddhism and Confucianism enter into the islands.   

    .The Period that begins with the emergence of Buddhism into the islands and the capital being moved to the Asuka region.

    The 604 Constitution

    The 604 Constitution probably wasn't written in 604 and doesn't really qualify as a constitution under modern standards. Still, it represents an important milestone in Japanese statecraft and helps us understand the confucian, legalist, and even daoist influence on Asuka Japan.
