Gérald Olivier est un journaliste franco-américain, spécialiste de l’actualité et de l’histoire des États-Unis.
Ancien rédacteur en chef du mensuel Le Spectacle du monde, il est éditorialiste à Atlantico et consultant en communications et médias.

Il est l’auteur de plusieurs ouvrages sur la politique américaine, dont Mitt Romney : Pour le renouveau du mythe américain, Kennedy, le Temps de l’Amérique: Comment John et Jackie ont changé le monde, et Sur la route… de la Maison Blanche : le dictionnaire des élections présidentielles américaines.

Gérald Olivier est également un expert des relations entre les États-Unis et l’Ukraine, un pays qu’il a visité à plusieurs reprises et dont il suit de près les évolutions.
Il a notamment enquêté sur les liens de corruption entre la famille Biden et les entreprises ukrainiennes, un sujet brûlant qui a fait l’objet d’une tentative de censure de la part des médias mainstream et des réseaux sociaux lors de la campagne présidentielle de 2020.

Cover Up est le nom donné à l’affaire qui révèle les dessous de ces liens de corruption.

Elle repose sur les révélations du New York Post, qui a publié en octobre 2020 des emails compromettants issus de l’ordinateur portable abandonné par Hunter Biden, le fils de Joe Biden, dans un magasin de réparation.
Ces emails montrent que Hunter Biden a utilisé son influence auprès de son père, alors vice-président des États-Unis, pour obtenir des avantages financiers de la part de la société gazière ukrainienne Burisma, dont il était membre du conseil d’administration.

Le clan Biden est au cœur de plusieurs affaires controversées, qui mettent en cause son intégrité et sa crédibilité.

Outre l’affaire Cover Up, il y a aussi l’affaire du laptop de Hunter Biden, qui contient des images et des vidéos choquantes de ses activités sexuelles et de sa consommation de drogues.

Il y a également les soupçons de fraude électorale qui pèsent sur la victoire de Joe Biden à l’élection présidentielle de 2020, contestée par Donald Trump et ses partisans.
Enfin, il y a les doutes sur la santé mentale et physique de Joe Biden, qui apparaît souvent confus et affaibli lors de ses interventions publiques.
