Episode 6 - My Name Is Ryan, But You Can Call Me Bogey

Episode 6 - My Name Is Ryan, But You Can Call Me Bogey

While we scrape out our brain matter for other ideas to fill in some discussions time, we drag in one of our old buddies Ryan to answer questions about beer, video games, and the foosball game that kicks off the fall season, NFL2K5.... whoops, I mean Madden 21. Strap in for an inquisition of epic proportions, as we wonder all the while, why the heck we should buy ANOTHER one of these installments. Also, we regurgitate on the digital Gamescom show from last week, along the way discussing 24 hours of Seal, our Marvel Avengers worries, and whether or not Donkey Kong Country is better than "just fine". Rest in Power, king.

SSS - Episode 46: Spelunky (Game Club)

SSS - Episode 46: Spelunky (Game Club)

Take a seat on the virtual couch and chat with the Synics all about the 2008 Indie Rogue-lite platformer Spelunky (which kicked their collective asses). A quarantine fueled whatcha playin' is massive this episode, along with troubling news that Gearbox employees are allegedly getting shorted on their bonuses from Borderlands 3. Also the WHO is now saying that video games are a good way to stay social in this quarantined world...but wait, didn't they also say that gaming can be an addiction? Talked about mixed messages (edit - we know that gaming becomes a mental health issue for the WHO when you start letting your life suffer because of it; please don't @ us. OR you can @ us just so we can get some interaction)

    176 - Pixelburg - Luftknochen

    SHFTS Season 5 Episode 27

    SHFTS Season 5 Episode 27
As if Mr Bean was not enough to entertain you at the Olympic 2012 opening ceremony, we have Darren Gargette and Chris ORegan to reveal their gaming weeks and pass comment on the top news stories affecting the video game industry. Games discussed include Endless Space, Wreckateer, Quantum Conundrum and Spelunky on the Xbox 360.

In the news we chat about Minecraft being sued over patent infringements, NASA launching Portal 2 related artwork into space, Microsoft shutting down Flight and Irrational Games demanding that potential staff have worked on games that have achieved a high score on Metacritic.
