The famous five-day event was held last week and when thinking of someone who would tie in nicely Jeremy Gask came straight to mind. Jeremy started training in Adelaide and then found himself training in England for 10 years before recently returning to train at Scone. Jeremy trained the warrior Medicean Man who ran at Royal Ascot seven times in eight years.

It was announced this week that the magnificent D'Argento will be standing at Bowness based in Young, NSW. The big grey son of So You Think was a crowd favourite throughout his career which was capped with a Group 1 victory in the Rosehill Guineas (2000m). Todd also discuses some of the issues in the racing world with Spring Programming and Crowds back at the track.

Todd also discusses the news of the sale of Shadow Hero to Hong Kong where he will be trained by David Hayes and the whole that will be left in the current crop of three-year-olds before next season with a number of colts heading off to stud.

Todd speaks to Dan Fletcher who is a part owner of Russian Camelot, the impressive winner of the Group 1 SA Derby (2500m), as well as a look at the race itself. Todd also looks at the Listed Andrew Ramsden Stakes (2800m) run this weekend at Flemington for a 'golden-ticket' to the Melbourne Cup.
