Dami Charf ist Heilpraktikerin für Psychotherapie, soziale Verhaltenswissenschaftlerin, hat eine Ausbildung in transformativer Körperpsychotherapie und diversen Traumatherapien. Sie hat es sich zur Aufgabe gemacht traumatisierte Menschen, wieder in den Kontakt zu ihrem eigenen Körper und Gefühlen zu bringen. Durch Ihre Methoden stärkt sie die natürliche Selbstregulation und Bindungsfähigkeit ihrer Klienten, damit diese wieder ein selbstbestimmtes und erfülltes Leben führen können. Laut Dami Charf sind viel mehr Menschen von Entwicklungs- oder Schocktraumatas betroffen als bisher angenommen. Sie schätzt, dass circa 90% der Menschen ein Trauma haben.
