#179: Mike Clayton and Steph Kyriacou

#179: Mike Clayton and Steph Kyriacou
Plenty transpired in global and local golf this week, but there’s no better perspective to put on the big issues than that of Mike Clayton, our resident guru. From miracle putts to Sophia Popov and the burning issue of Royal Sydney’s redevelopment, Clayts has it all covered.

We’re also joined by Steph Kyriacou from Prague after her stellar result on the LET, sharing her thoughts with Stacey Peters about the lessons she’s learnt in an incredible season.

And closer to home, we catch up with new Royal Fremantle course-record holder Maddison Hinson-Tolchard to discuss her epic achievement.

Hosts Andy Maher and Mark Hayes have that and much more.

Strategic Thinking: How to Zoom in on the Big Picture

Strategic Thinking: How to Zoom in on the Big Picture

Executives and managers confront a barrage of distractions from the big picture. As the speed of change and communication in global business generates incessant opportunities and threats, a clear corporate strategy is more vital for long-term business success than ever. Smart organisations know where they are heading and why. Some even divest profitable operations just to stick to their plans. Doug Stace, a strategy expert at the Australian School of Business, highlights why strategy must be a day-to-day concern and not only an annual planning event.

In this show we hear from Lauretta Stace, CEO of Fitness Australia.  For the past 20 years, Lauretta has held leadership roles in both the not-for-profit and private sectors within health-related organisations.

Since starting in her role in 2006, Lauretta has embarked upon a journey to raise the profile of the fitness industry, to help integrate the industry within the health sector and to ensure that the industry is recognised for its important role in helping millions of people to improve their health and wellbeing through regular exercise and other lifestyle changes.
