Star Trek: The Animated Series Rememberng the early 70's

In this episode Greg and Tom talk about Star Trek: The Animated Series

Star Trek: The Animated Series (TAS), originally airing as Star Trek and as The Animated Adventures of Gene Roddenberry's Star Trek

We saw an animated video making the rounds on the internet that was an episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation done in the style of the original Animated Star Trek from the early 1970's  So we decided lets talk about the Animated Series and some of the things happening early on with Star Trek. Of course we get taking off course and talk some about Star Wars The Mandalorian and Ralph Bakshi Fritz the Cat and of course Wizards as well as  Jean “Moebius” Giraud and Heavy Metal.
Listen in as we swing back to the 70's

Star Trek The Animated Series "The Magicks of Megas-Tu"

A Father and Son review the Star Trek Animated Series episode "The Magicks of Megas-Tu" where William Shatner proceeds to scrape every idea he can for his movie 'The Final Frontier'.  Features a convoluted plot (even by Star Trek standards) where Q like beings exist in the center of the Galaxy and put Humanity on Trial.

    And Klingons.

    And a Special Weapon.

Star Trek The Animated Series "Beyond the Farthest Star"

Star Trek The Animated Series "Beyond the Farthest Star"

A Father and Son revisit the series debut of Star Trek the Animated Series "Beyond the Farthest Star".  A good step forward for the series that will hopefully keep fans satisfied as the future television and movie offerings are years into the future.  Despite lack of quality animation it managed to remain engaging.
