    14. Billy & Yolanda Jackson

    14. Billy & Yolanda Jackson

Authors, Speakers and Marriage Strategists, Billy & Yolanda Jackson, are a force to be reckoned with when it comes to “real life” marriage and family situations. They launched Live in Peace Ministries in 2016, and together they host seminars, workshops, conferences and retreats to equip and encourage married couples on their journey. Their mission is to help them build a legacy of love through stronger marriages. They believe that changing the world is possible one couple at a time through the transformational power of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

This episode gives a more personal look at the Jacksons, giving insight and hope for couples who struggle. Thanks again to Marriage Dynamics for giving them the tools needed to make a difference in not only their marriage, but for other husbands and wives too.

Billy and Yolanda have been married for 13 years and have a blended family of 4 beautiful children and 4 adorable grandchildren.

    10. Aaron & Gwen Warwick

    10. Aaron & Gwen Warwick

Aaron & Gwen Warwick's story is one that was definitely not “love at first sight” (in fact they were both suspicious of the other after that first encounter on the basketball court), but they eventually became good friends and started dating, and the rest is history! The couple has lived in Wichita, Kansas for the past 12 years, where Aaron pastors St Mary Orthodox Christian Church, and Gwen works as a nurse practitioner in cardio-thoracic surgery at Wesley Medical Center. They have four kids, ages 17, 15, (soon to be 13), and 11. The couple’s first introduction to Marriage Dynamics Institute was through Gwen’s parents, who took the Dynamic Marriage class at a church in Ohio. After leaving seminary for their parish assignment, the couple attended Dynamic Marriage training in San Diego about 10 years ago. Since that time they have offered multiple classes at their church. Their own marriage has been positively impacted by the lessons learned from the class, and they have no greater joy in ministry than seeing other couples transform their marriage through the classes.

    9. Dave and Mary Gothi

    9. Dave and Mary Gothi

Dave and Mary Gothi, the creators of The Significant Marriage, have dedicated themselves to making a difference in the lives of couples since 1996, through teaching and helping them to enhance, protect and, when needed, restore their marriages. Dave and Mary have mentored couples, led marriage seminars and workshops across the US and overseas, including a workshop for couples in crisis through Marriage Dynamics Institute.

On this episode, Dave and Mary sit down with Sue Duffield with a very open and honest discussion on the most important aspect of a fruitful marriage -- finding your purpose as a couple.

22: Parenting through Deconstruction w/ Kevin Neuner of Spark Church

22: Parenting through Deconstruction w/ Kevin Neuner of Spark Church
In episode 22, we talk with our returning guest, Kevin Neuner from Spark Church, about parenting through deconstruction. It can be hard to talk about God, spirituality, and church as you’re reimagining or reconstructing your faith. We talk about being a sojourner alongside your kids rather than prescribing “right beliefs” and how children can be a valuable sage in our journey. Kevin draws on decades of studying the Rabbinic traditions and way of Jesus to invite us to a new posture for parenting.
