One of my favourite sayings related to control is "You can't control the wind, but you can adjust your sails".

I used to have a strong desire to have control over everything in my life, which, as you may have guessed, isn't possible. I can't control the weather, or what someone thinks of me, or how someone might react or behave.

It took a lot of time and self-improvement to realize that I always have control over my own thoughts and reactions. Once I did, things started to change for me and for those around me.
