    Hour 1

Last night Jalen Brunson knocked knees but x-rays were negative. Of course, x-rays were negative on Aaron Rodgers and we all saw how that turned out. Gio thinks if the Knicks won a championship it would be the biggest one the city has ever seen. Boomer wonders if there’s a shoe out there that’s attributing to achilles injuries in the NFL. C-Lo is in for Jerry and is here for his first update and starts with the audio of Brunson’s knee injury on the MSG broadcast. Caitlin Clark is now the leading scorer in NCAA basketball history, beating out Pistol Pete. Gio said you can’t compare the two. They both did amazing things but to treat them as equal accomplishments doesn’t make sense. C-Lo went around the NBA and NHL yesterday. In the final segment of the hour, we talked about Steve Spagnuolo as a hall of fame coach as a coordinator. He has racked up a bunch of Super Bowls.

    Hour 2

We talked about the NFL combine and all the measurements for the quarterback position. Boomer said Jayden Daniels needs to get bigger and stronger. But let’s not forget that Tom Brady was lanky and slow at the combine. We talked about the documentary series on the Patriots called, ‘Dynasty’ that’s on Apple TV+. Gio is having issues getting his W-2. We also talked about congestion pricing in NYC for people driving into the city to come to work. C-Lo returns for an update and starts with the Jalen Brunson injury and the Knicks win from last night. Caitlin Clark became the all time leader in points for NCAA basketball. Reporter Courtney Cronin was on a sports station in Chicago and she was having connection issues so she cursed and disconnected. In the final segment of the hour, Al went to the Belmar St. Patrick’s Day parade. Boomer remembers his little league opening day parade.

    Hour 3

Gio’s favorite YouTube golfer, Fat Perez is looking to qualify at a PGA event today. Gio is watching a Netflix documentary called The Octopus Murders. Gio said it’s complicated and he tries to explain what it’s about. Gio also said the Islanders are making a run and better not trade anyone away. Boomer said the Rangers will have to make some sort of moves. C-Lo returns for an update and starts with the Knicks win over the Cavs and Jalen Brunson’s knee injury. Sauce Gardner came to the defense of Zach Wilson on twitter. The record for the 40 yard dash was broken this weekend at the NFL combine. Chris Mortensen passed away at the age of 72. In the final segment of the hour, there’s a news anchor at 1010 WINS named Larry Mullins and we think his voice is being used as AI to do voiceovers on Instagram and TikTok.

    Hour 4

Jalen Brunson was injured in last night’s Knicks win over the Cavs. It looks like it’s a knee contusion with x-rays negative. We also talked about the NFL combine and draft and Boomer wants JJ McCarthy and Zach Wilson to go to the Vikings. Gio doesn’t like everybody being compared to Tom Brady. We get breaking news that Mike Evans will remain with the Bucs. C-Lo returns for his final update of the day but first Moose, Marc Malusis, joins us in the studio and we replayed one of the greatest calls to Moose on the overnights. It’s the infamous ‘Nadine call’. The Moment of The Day involves Al walking so fast getting out of the Super Bowl that Gio injured his achilles. In the final segment of the show, Yankees games will be on YES, Amazon, Apple TV+, FOX, MLB Network, ESPN and FS1.

The Season with Peter Schrager: Steve Spagnuolo, Kansas City Chiefs Defensive Coordinator

Peter starts the podcast with a Combine preview, explaining the "art" and the "science" of Combine week, and how it's so much more than just the drills you see on TV. Then, he welcomes 4-time Super Bowl champion Steve Spagnuolo to the show. "Spags" talks about being the only coordinator in NFL history to win 4 different Super Bowl titles, why the NFL's youngest defense in the league was able to rise to the occasion time and time again, and how past and present colleagues like Tom Coughlin, John Harbaugh, Andy Reid, and the late Jim Johnson helped him become the coach he is today. Specifically, then, Peter and Spags go into preparing for the 49ers offense before Super Bowl LVIII, and just how special Kyle Shanahan is as a play caller. Spags goes into great detail on the crucial 3rd and 4 stop at the end of regulation and how Nick Bolton had as much to do with the play as Trent McDuffie. He also defends Brock Purdy and explains why he was so impressed with the 49ers QB. Lastly, Spags goes through his previous opportunities as an NFL head coach and his aspirations to someday get that chance again.
