46 year old Steve White of Greensboro, North Carolina was a gay army veteran who suffered great injury from a civilian job he took in Iraq. Mental and physical pain caused him to become an alcoholic. Everything in his life came crashing down due to his addiction, including his serious relationship with Alex. One November night he and Alex went to dinner to discuss their relationship and Steve's drinking issues. After dinner, Alex sent Steve to go have one last Hurrah binge of alcohol and sex with other men. Steve would never come back home.
