More training troops to Iraq; plus TPP
Victoria Jones guest hosts for Leslie during today's show. Victoria is the White House correspondent and political analyst for The Talk Radio News Service.
She joins Leslie on the show every week as our TRNS Reporter.

Victoria interviews the following guests in this order during today's show:

    1. Colonel Cedric Leighton, Founder and President of Cedric Leighton Associates, a strategic risk and leadership consultancy serving global companies and organizations.
They discuss the news that the U.S. is sending 450 Advisers to help Iraq Fight ISIS, plus they talk about the Middle East in general.

    2. Mike Lillis, staff writer for The Hill.
They discuss the latest on the TPP (Trans-Pacific Partnership), including a new leaked document from Wikileaks, which shows the TPP would make "Medicare vulnerable to legal challenges from pharmaceutical companies and jeopardize future attempts by the insurer to negotiate lower drug prices" according to The Huffington Post. Leslie & Scott Paul on FastTrack for TPP

Leslie & Scott Paul on FastTrack for TPP
Leslie is rejoined by good friend of the show, Scott N. Paul. Scott is President of the Alliance for American Manufacturing (AAM), a partnership established by some of America’s leading manufacturers and the United Steelworkers union.

Leslie and Scott discuss how as the TPP is advancing through Congress, Democrats are divided on the issue.
They also talk about a piece that Scott recently wrote where he explains that the TPP will not work without strong currency reform.

Both Leslie and Scott agree that, regardless of what you personally think of the TPP, 'Fast-Tracking' it so that it cannot be fully debated and amended is a horrible idea (especially since the deal has been created and negotiated in secret).

To keep updated on the TPP and other issues related to American Manufacturing, follow the AAM online.

Leslie & Nicole Sandler on TPP FastTrack

Leslie & Nicole Sandler on TPP FastTrack
Leslie is joined by Nicole Sandler, a radio veteran who has come full circle! From talk radio to music and back to talk again.

They discuss why not allowing the TPP (Trans-Pacific Partnership) to be fully debated or amended by 'fast-tracking' it is a big mistake. They also discuss why they believe that both President Obama and the Republicans in Congress are wrong for supporting the TPP since they believe it's a bad deal for America and for American workers.

Nicole Sandler launched her blog and podcast at www.RadioOrNot.com in 2008, and began guest hosting on the Air America network. The fill-in stints turned into a nightly late night show, which lasted for the final year of AAR’s existence.

When Air America Radio went under, Nicole moved the show online to Radio or Not, where she continues today.
