Reducing Problems to the Simplest Solutions with Strider Bike Founder, Ryan McFarland

Reducing Problems to the Simplest Solutions with Strider Bike Founder, Ryan McFarland

    “Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication.”

Today I had the absolute pleasure to talk with the Owner of Strider bikes and founder of the All Kids Bike Foundation, Ryan McFarland. Ryan likes to tinker with projects, which is actually how he started creating a balance bike for his 2 year old son. After the balance bike getting a ton of attention he thought maybe there is some demand for a product like this, which turned into the global success of Strider Bikes. Ryan talks about focus and sticking with what you are good at and where you're needed. When Ryan heard about the shocking numbers of decline in children learning to ride bikes, he took it upon himself to boil down the problem to the simplest solution, which was to get biking into the public school eduction system. Ryan started the All Kids Bike Foundation which teaches kindergarten and Grade 1 students to learn how to ride a bike during PE class. It has been a great success so far as they are currently implemented in almost ever state across the country which massive potential and wide reaching impacts. This was an incredible conversation and Ryan dropped so many knowledge bombs that I’m sure you will gain some value from listening and walk away with several nuggets of gold.

    1921

Strider looks back a century's time to see what was going down? What was 2021 the year of? What will 2021 be the year of? Strider is thinking it's gonna be aliens dude? We need something to unite us. Hopefully it's chill aliens that can teach us how to be legit. If 2020, and the first week of 2021 are any indicator... seems anything could go down.

    The Credenza The Dankest Decor

    The Credenza The Dankest Decor

Strider had no idea what a credenza was before he met his dank GF. One could say he has been in a love triangle ever since. The credenza, thought by most to be a simple corridor adornment is the center piece of Strider and his dank GF's abode. Listen and learn all about the Dank Denza and similar pieces we so often identify incorrectly.

    History Of Fantasy Football

A lot of people just won their leagues this week. A lot more didn't. Strider is a constituent of the latter. Leaving all emotion and hard feelings out of it, Strider shares his research on the medium of camaraderie and competition that we all love and hate some much.

    History Of Big Dog T's

    History Of Big Dog T's

You know you've seen these graphic T's being sported by a dude in jean shorts on vacation standing next to his son who is sunburnt wearing the same T. Strider is for sure fired up that people are on vacation, but what is it about these shirts? Why were they such a hit? Where did they come from? Do people still wear them? What is going on!?

When you're posted up watching a dank movie like Braveheart or Kingdom Of Heaven the director's roadshow or any period piece really... the executioner is always a dude who looks like a former offensive lineman who maybe played D-2 college ball wearing a hood with a huge axe. In this episode Strider searches for a better understanding of the person not the position by removing the veil to find out a little more about the men behind the mask. If they even wore them at all...

Robert Smalls Is A Straight Up Legend

Robert Smalls Is A Straight Up Legend

Robert Smalls possessed the boldness and courage we all wish we had. His story is one for the ages, and it just begins with him hi-jacking a Confederate battle ship and navigating his way to freedom. He then went on to do even better things. This is a purely stoke inducing ep!

    Cowboy Poetry

    Cowboy Poetry

Strider has paraphrased the wise and true words of Winston Churchill many times and he will do it again, "there is something about the outside of a horse that is dank for the inside of man." Well what about when those who use their backs to drive herds use poetry to dive deep and be heard? Cowboys writing and reciting poetry! Dank.

    Dastardly Dude Dan Sickles

Not only was Dan Sickles the shmole of the Battle of Gettysburg, he was the first person in U.S. history to get away with murder because of, "Temporary Insanity!" How did that come to be? How can a guy with the word, sick, in his name be a such a renob?

    IPAs and IRAs

    IPAs and IRAs

What to do IPAs and IRAs have in common? The short answer: time is your most valuable asset. IPA's, like IRAs get danker over time. Both are meant to be enjoyed slowly over time. Strider explores this Christopher Nolan style time oriented connection and much more.

    Stokesosaurus! The Dankest Dino?

    Stokesosaurus! The Dankest Dino?

With a name like STOKEsosaurus how can it not be the dankest dinosaur to ever walk the Earth? One has to imagine this ancient lizard was posting up on the beach in the Yucatan soaking up rays, making noises and chilling with its squad. Just to be sure though, Strider performed a little research.
