This is Part 1 of our conversation with Susan Nefzger on awareness. Susan, a veteran public relations professional, and author of the books “A Practical Guide to Awareness” and “Putting Awareness into Practice” has traveled the world seeking answers in her quest for self-actualization. She began exploring self-awareness in the early 80’s because of reading “Many Lives Many Masters,” by Brian Weiss, M.D., and attending his workshops. She later studied several spiritual practices from a favorite guru and Self Realization Fellowship founder, Paramahansa Yogananda.  

In this conversation, Susan explains why awareness is an important part of fulfillment and happiness in our life, and shares steps we should take to begin on the path of self-awareness.
