Women Making Waves in Wisconsin - Off The Record Podcast
Opportunities and exposure for women who fish in Wisconsin are rising. According to the Recreational Boating and Fishing Foundation, women anglers ages 25-34 have grown over 30% in the last 10 years. And 43% of people who are new to fishing are women. We sat down with various DNR staff to learn why an increase in women fishing is so significant.
