    Tenet

This entire episode is inverted! Thankfully, so are all of you as the Plotaholics tackle Christopher Nolan’s 2020 masterpiece Tenet, starring John David Washington as "the Protagonist" tasked with saving the world from a mad man who’s getting his orders from…the future?

Who the hell writes this? Oh. Chris Nolan. Okay, then.

With Robert Pattinson, Sir Michael Cain, Elizabeth Debicki, Dimple Kapadia, and Kenneth Baranagh supporting, this film is non-stop, well-acted action that’s going to require multiple viewings to fully understand!

Don't think about it too much. Just feel it.

TENET: What Goes Around Goes Backwards Around Again

It’s not easy to unpack and decode the complexities of Christopher Nolan’s TENET, but the Cinemondo gang gives it a shot and at least does their best to examine this fascinating film and understand what direction it’s going. Nolan’s films often play with the concept of time and other modes of experiencing it, but this one seems to be the most dependent on the idea of traveling in an unfamiliar timescale. Not unlike his earlier film MEMEMTO, we’re pulled along into a concept that makes sense, but only if you’re really paying attention. It’s a James Bond-style international heist with secrets and larger-than-life villains intent on destroying the world, and one of the weapons in this world is an ability to go backwards through time. What can you do with that? How can you use that ability to stop an armageddon? Join us for our attempt to figure out the puzzle that is TENET.

Our Two Protagonists Aya and Kevin invert time to take on Christopher Nolan's newest justification for IMAX theaters, TENET (2020). They talk Aya's catchphrase, Robert Pattinson's hotness, certain CURRENT EVENTS and of course, the dire state of theatrical distribution in the United States.

The Best Seat In The House - Alien v. Predator

The Best Seat In The House - Alien v. Predator

I decided to try a little something here... An episode of Best Seat in The House (basically a Back Row: Movie News commentary track on a movie or show) but without Kaesen! I have been itching to do something like this for the Alien franchise, so this is one of a few test runs.

I figured I would start off with something not too serious, but still fun and it does bring about some interesting conversation, especially with how the new prequels have panned out so far! Please hit us on Twitter @backrowmovienew or message us on Facebook and tell me how you like this episode!
