Purple Songs Can Fly co-hosts, Zachary and Emily, interview Writers In The Schools (WITS) writer, Marcia Chamberlain and WITS Communications Director, Lauren Mitchell about their work at Texas Children’s Cancer Center and their long connection to Purple Songs Can Fly. The Purple Songs that end each segment, “My Daddy” by Jaslynn, “On My Path To Another World” by Jasmine, “Everything is Purple” by Ebony and “The World Prays by Rhea”, all began as poems written by the children with Marcia’s guidance and inspiration.
