It's been wild the last few days with the weather in North Texas. Last week, there were days when the temperature dropped below freezing. Weather can impact everyone, but it's especially tough for the homeless and for other people who just don't get enough to eat daily. Jeff Smith joined Monday's Ask the Expert. He is the senior manager of communications at North Texas Food Bank.

It's been a long hot summer already, so what better thought to put in your mind than how cold it's going to be in just a few months?
Every year, the Farmers Almanac makes predictions about the weather months ahead of time. And there are times when those predictions are eerily correct. Remember, the freezeout in February of 2021? The Farmers Almanac predicted it within a week. The Almanac had that prediction the previous August.
