The War on Motherhood
In today’s episode, Becket looks at a New York Times article that denigrates motherhood by placing a premium on career and the workforce. Becket explores the pernicious effects on society when the media, intentionally or unintentionally, attacks mothers and families. We see the results of these attacks all around us: homelessness, drug addiction, mental health issues, suicide ideation, and so on. Becket concludes that motherhood is the most wonderful vocation of all. It’s the most important work a person can do.
