Kim Deal opened up to Richard Kingsmill in 1993 about the making of The Breeders triumphant second album Last Splash.
The album came six months after the sudden and surprising announcement of the end of her other band, Pixies. Kingsmill wanted to also get Kimâs take on the split of that seminal band, and how she felt about now leading another successful group.
Lucky McKee is the director of many a horror banger, my 4 personal favourites being May (2002), The Woman (2011), Sick Girl (2006) & Old Man (2022). Today, join me in a celebration of one of those, his disturbing horror classic, May. Second Sight films have released a lavish Bluray box set & I took that as a good as excuse as any to reach out to him.
