Every episode of Thirty Twenty Ten is special, but this might be THE SPECIALIST. We've got a rare and facisnating look into a musical we were never supposed to see! We're also looking back on 10 years of The Lego Movie, the simulteanoulsy horrific and timeless effort that shot Jim Carrey into a new stratosphere of stardom, and one of the greatest sports movies of all-time. They Are Deliberately Inserting These Scenes In Kids Movies

They Are Deliberately Inserting These Scenes In Kids Movies

Andrew Young has worked for XBox, DreamWorks, and other kids entertainment companies. He has seen firsthand how deliberate decisions to insert specific scenes and vocabulary take place.

We talk about his experiences and why they choose to deliver these messages under a cloak.

I've seen Andrew give examples from The Lego Movie, Frozen, and many others. He shows how these movies use "social engineering" as propaganda to your kids.

    S02E08 - The LEGO Movie (2014)

    S02E08 - The LEGO Movie (2014)

Welcome to Season 2 of Snubs & Dubs! This season we are covering the 87th Academy Awards, featuring the films of 2014.

For Episode 8, we are talking about Phil Lord & Chris Miller's The LEGO Movie. Emmet (Chris Pratt), an ordinary LEGO figurine who always follows the rules, is mistakenly identified as the Special -- an extraordinary being and the key to saving the world. He finds himself drafted into a fellowship of strangers who are on a mission to stop an evil tyrant's (Will Ferrell) plans to conquer the world. Unfortunately for Emmet, he is hopelessly -- and hilariously -- unprepared for such a task, but he'll give it his all nonetheless.

Please leave a five-star review and follow us on the social platforms below! We'd love to hear your feedback on the episodes, or thoughts on the movies themselves!

The LEGO Movie: Nothing Special, Everything Awesome - Audio
Everything is awesome in Rev. Ken Beldon's message about "The LEGO Movie," where an ordinary construction worker, Emmet, is told he's The Special, the one person who can save the world. What does it mean to be "special?" This is the first of this summer's SpiritFlix series, finding meaning in movies. "Ultimately Lego pieces are designed for one thing: to connect...and so are we." ~~Rev. Ken Beldon
