The 1985 Sci-Fi Film

Young Ethan Hawke and young River Phoenix star in this 1985 lack luster sci-fi film that had heart and good editing. We still had fun talking about this little known film that was outshined at the box office, coming out just one week after the release of another little film known as Back To The Future. Even if it's release would have been a bit more strategic, this film struggles on so many levels but, like we said, it has heart! The one with broken bones, and babies

Happy New Year listeners! Haley and Sara are back to tickle those ear drums with our nonsense. That's right, the holidays are over, let's get back to business and talk Trek! This episode is a literal disaster! No really it is, we're talking about the episode titled Disaster, you know the one... Worf delivers a baby, Data takes head off...again, and Troi is a total boss!

Revisiting the Last TNG Film

Star Trek: Nemesis spelled the end of The Next Generation era of Trek. It was the best of times, it was the worst of times - depending on how you felt about this film! Heralded as a grand exit for the TNG crew, it left most fans feeling indifferent or disappointed. The BIG Sci-Fi crew decided to watch it again (some of us for the first time in years!) to see if we would feel differently about it having watched with fresh eyes and a more mature perspective. You'll have to listen to find out what we think about the film that sent the TNG crew packing...at least until Picard rolled around (thank God!).
