This week we're joined by two of our favorite people.  Bryan Burkhardt and Monty Browning.  This episode is somewhat of a teaser and you'll want to stay tuned over the next few episodes for sure!  The guys tell us about their recent trip north for Alaskan Moose, hunting in the Alaskan bush, and some big news of things to come.  You don't want to miss this one!!

We've gotten a lot of requests regarding saddle hunting lately.  Since we're not to familiar with this method of hunting we had our good buddy Jason Redd of Timber Ninja Outdoors on to tell us all about them.  Jason, Jordan, and Tyler at Timber Ninja all utilize saddles in specific scenarios and Jason talks in detail about using the saddle hunting system as a tool and when it's applicable.  

This week we're joined by a longtime friend, Emile LeBlanc.  Emile has been hunting with a traditional bow for over 50 years and is a retired biologist for Louisiana Wildlife and Fisheries.  To say he know a thing or two about deer biology is a vast understatement.  Emile has spent years conducting and coordinating deer studies and shares some of the insights he's learned over a long career in the field.  This weeks episode is a deep dive into some of the often overlooked aspects of items we should all have in our woodsmanship tool bag!

This week we catch up with Kirby Kohler.  Kirby has been a Traditional Bowhunter Magazine contributor for over 20 years and is one of those quite killers we love to talk to!  We talk about the 
the secret sauce to being successful in the field, the benefits of spending tons of time in the woods, woodsmanship, a little deer biology, and of course lots of bowhunting stories!

Everyone in the traditional bowhunting community has heard of Paul Shchafer and his many exploits in bowhunting as well as his Silver Tip Recurves.  Called by many "the greatest bowhunter that has ever lived", we wanted to hear from some that knew him best.   Barry Wensel and Scott Koelzer were two of Paul's closest friends and this week they share some of their memories of Paul from both past hunts, his humbleness, and life in general.  Pull up a seat close to the fire and join us for a great campfire chat!

This week Dalton and Ethan sit down with our good buddy Clay Epperson to talk about our favorite topic, woodsmanship and the importance of learning to get closer.  No matter how far you can group arrows efficiently, the closer you can get the more you'll improve your overall chances of making it count when the moment arrives!

Adventure is where you find it!  Whether or not you're chasing polar bears on the ice caps or camping out overnight on a local wildlife area, you can find adventure.  In fact, a little "lesser" adventure can prepare you and build good experience for future "greater" adventures.  This week Ethan sits down with our good friends Jason Redd and Chris Parrino to talk about just that.  If you're an experienced adventure bowhunter or would like to experience that, there are some great nuggets of info in this one.

This week Ethan and Maribeth catch up with our friend Bryan Broderick of DaySix Gear.  We talk about everything from a bit of conservation and history, antelope, axis deer, elk, hunting out of blinds, and keeping the main thing, the main thing in bowhunting.  A great conversation with a great guy!

This week we sit down with Don Thomas and talk about a wide range of topics.  With all the talk about the Robertson-Pittman act in political circles these days, we thought it would be a good idea to touch on exactly what that is.  But we quickly move on to bowhunting and adventure, and even discuss responsibilities we share as bowhunters to be informed and speak intelligently on our passions.  As always, this conversation with Don is as pleasant, thought provoking, and fun as every one we've ever had with him.   

Traditional Bowhunters form some of the strongest bonds and best friendships of any outdoor pursuit.  This week we dive into one of those bonds with Paul Brunner (Too Short) and Tom Storm (Too Tall).  This is a great conversation filled with epic pranks, fond memories, and grand adventures!

This week we sit down with Allen Clark of Indiana.  Allen has hunted extensively throughout North America as abroad and remains a humble guy that has a deep passion for the adventure of traditional bowhunting.  This was a really fun episode filled with great hunting stories, adventure, and some perspective thrown in for good measure!

On this weeks episode we sit down with our buddy Michael Arnette of Tall Tines Archery to talk bowhunting.  Michael is a great guy and one of the "quiet killers" we love talking to so much.  Michael talks about growing up in a non hunting family and his interest in becoming a hunter as a kid, becoming a bowhunter and then bowyer, and of course lots of hunting tales!  Great conversation with a great guy!

This week we sit down with our old buddy and co-host Nathan Killen, an officially welcome our friend and new co-host Maribeth Kulynycz to discuss an often overlooked aspect of bow hunting.  It's ok if the animals win, in fact they should and do win over 90% of the time!  That's part of what makes bowhunting so much fun!  Accepting that and learning from those "failed encounters" can make us much better bowhunters.
