    The Hurricane Wars

    The Hurricane Wars

Bridget, Caitlin, and Hilda cover "The Hurricane Wars," Thea Guanzon's debut novel. With a story-line inspired by East Asian myths and Kylo Ren/Rei Star Wars fanfic, this debut novel hits on all the major tropes we love: Enemies-to-lovers, one bed, arranged marriage, long-lost princess, and found family. Listen now and let us know what you think!

Read the article from Tor.com that has background information on the novel.

    295: Thunderstruck

    295: Thunderstruck

Ever wonder what the song Rooster by Alice in Chains is all about?  How about Thunderstruck by AC/DC?  Doug and Brent do a full on breakdown of the lyrics and listen to the isolated vocals of those songs, and they learn some pretty interesting things and get a bit thunderstruck theirselves.  In After Dark, they check out Back in Black by AC/DC and it's also interesting.

    All or Nothing (band)

    All or Nothing (band)

Episode 79 - All or Nothing! I found this band while doing research for Beau Lastavich and True Villains. They performed with him and have also shared a stage with Puddle of Mudd and Broken Rail. They describe themselves as high energy and no frills. I really like the music they’ve put out so far and more music will be coming out soon. I think they are an extremely talented band, nice guys and fun to chat with! Hear all about living in the south, performing for Vince Neil & Johnny Galecki, and what they made Jacob do for a band initiation!

Fireside Hut 16: Happy 65th Birthday Angus Young!

Fireside Hut 16: Happy 65th Birthday Angus Young!
Johnny celebrates the immortal Angus Young's birthday by pulling out his axe, cranking up the Marshall half-stack, and butchering some his favorite AC/DC riffs. Johnny waxes nostalgic about his first concert experience, the simplicity of AC/DC songs' chord progressions, the 12-bar blues, Bon Scott, Malcom Young, and more. He goes in-depth on Whole Lotta Rosie, It's A Long Way To The Top, Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap, High Voltage, The Jack, Jailbreak, and Thunderstruck. Any AC/DC fan (who isn't a note-for-note guitar douche) will enjoy this gnarly musical journey. Happy Birthday, Angus! Hang in there, Earth, and subscribe to The Sausage Hut. The Fireside Hut is here for y'all! Tell your friends! Binge away on The Sausage Hut Podcast! You got nothing better to do.
