    Winnie the Pooh Day: 01/18/24

January 18th is celebrated as Winnie the Pooh Day. The day is dedicated to the beloved children's book character created by author A.A. Milne and illustrator E.H. Shepard.

Winnie the Pooh is a friendly and lovable bear who lives in the Hundred Acre Wood with his friends Piglet, Eeyore, Tigger, Rabbit, Owl, Kanga, and Roo. The character first appeared in the book "Winnie-the-Pooh" in 1926 and has since become a beloved icon of children's literature.

Winnie the Pooh Day is an opportunity to celebrate the enduring popularity of this classic character and to reflect on the timeless lessons and messages found in the stories. It is also a chance to appreciate the artistry and creativity of Milne and Shepard, who brought these characters to life through their writing and illustrations.

To celebrate Winnie the Pooh Day, people may participate in activities such as reading the books or watching movies or TV shows based on the character, creating Winnie the Pooh-themed crafts or decorations, or sharing their favorite Winnie the Pooh stories or memories.

Overall, Winnie the Pooh Day is a fun and nostalgic holiday that celebrates a beloved children's character and the enduring magic of children's literature. It is a chance to appreciate the joy and wonder of childhood and to reflect on the many ways in which Winnie the Pooh has touched the hearts of generations of readers.

    194 - Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey (2023) Review

    194 - Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey (2023) Review

Pooh and Piglet start killing all who enter Hundred Acre Wood after their close friend, Christopher Robin leaves them for college.

Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey was one of the movies we wanted to watch for the longest time since it came out in early 2023. We couldn't wait to watch how they'd make beloved children's characters evil and violent. After watching, it was our high level of excitement that led us to being completely disappointment. In every way, this movie did not deliver and left us thinking this could have been so entertaining and fun. Watch the movie and catch our review.

Reel Rankings: The Revival (Part 1): 2009-2012

Soooo... last go-around wasn't so hot. But we do, in fact, like modern Disney, as is the case with the Revival Era. Here, we discuss and rank The Princess and the Frog, Tangled, Winnie the Pooh, and Wreck-It Ralph. This was more of a nostalgia trip for us, considering 2010s pop culture, and it was fun to revisit.

P.S. We recorded this before the "Recession" ranking, hence why I refer to Raeley as guest.

A New Many Adventures Of Winnie The Pooh

A New Many Adventures Of Winnie The Pooh
This week, your honey-filled hosts tackle a redo of the maligned The Many Adventures Of Winnie The Pooh. With the success of Tokyo's Pooh's Hunny Hunt, it seems only fitting that both of our attractions go as far away from being perfect specimens of trackless entertainment as possible. First, Jim clobbers a corner of Fantasyland to install a knockoff of an attraction a few hundred yards away as he invites guests to visit a Carousel Of Poohgress, featuring that brainy bear Pooh helping many of his Hundred Acre pals deal with their physicatric problems. Then, as if that wasn't bad enough, Scottye takes Pooh out of a nightmare and straight into Hell, as he must face judgment for his sins. Tigger, voiced in this attraction by the late Ed Wynn, tries to save Pooh, but finds everything has become quite a sticky situation.
