Fred Gray joined LATICRETE in 1992 after more than 20 years of experience in concreting and building.

Working with concrete structures and swimming pools provided an excellent background for the following many decades in the tile and stone industry.

As part of his job at LATICRETE, he engaged with industry professionals and networking. The Australian Tile Council played a significant role in this engagement. Regardless of his position in LATICRETE, his work always involved sharing technical knowledge and finding solutions to job site problems, which is also a trait engrained in the ATC.

As someone who enjoyed working in the technical field, Fred found it easy to implement training, deliver seminars, write technical documents and articles, review problematic jobs, and encourage compliance. When the ATC proposed the development of the current AS3958, he found a way to balance his work and personal goals.
