Bruce speaks all things Deep Field as well as his first son to stand at stud in Cosmic Force who will stand alongside his old-man as well as his new personal venture Kestrel Thoroughbreds.

Amongst the resulted racehorse he has mated is Melbourne Cup hero Vow And Declare.

    This week on The Trainers Hut Todd Blum wanted a guest who had a link to the Royal Ascot Carnival. The famous five-day event was held last week and when thinking of someone who would tie in nicely Jeremy Gask came straight to mind. Jeremy started training in Adelaide and then found himself training in England for 10 years before recently returning to train at Scone. Jeremy trained the warrior Medicean Man who ran at Royal Ascot seven times in eight years.

    This week we go in The Trainers Hut with returning trainer Sam Kavanagh. It has been well noted that Sam faced a lengthy ban that was reduced to over four years on appeal and he has been granted a trainer's licence and given a second chance. Todd speaks to Sam about some of the horses that have been a part of the rebuild of the stable as well as some of the other things that have been keeping him busy.
