• Segment 3: Connie Weaver, Spa Director at Treetops Resort in Gaylord, talks about all the great services available this winter season, including some February specials. She also talks John and Amy into getting a facial on their next visit.
• Segment 4: Tanya Bardy, Advertising and Public Relations Manager for Soaring Eagle Casino in Mt. Pleasant, talks about the renovation of their buffet into a Food District to house four additional restaurants including Guy Fieri’s Chicken Guy!, Ike’s Love and Sandwiches, Bubbakoo’s Burritos and Bonanno’s New York Pizzeria. We'll be visiting with our good friend Barry Owens, Treetops General Manager, who always brings a laugh, and great insider tips for all things Treetops.
Doug Hoeh, Director of Recreation shares what's new golf-wise around the resort. All I wanted to know was how does one achieve the awesome title of director of recreation and all the fun that clearly goes along with that? Turns out that Hoeh is plenty busy 'playing' the 81 holes of golf they have at Treetops on the regular.

Will God answer your prayer if you don't end with, "In Jesus' name, Amen?" Learn what praying in the name of Jesus really means.   I taught this week on the call of Abraham and the development of God's missionary call through the nation of Israel as they were responsible to communicate the truth of God to the cultures around them. They were given that great commission. The great commission didn't start in Matthew 28.  It started with Abraham in Genesis 12 —the first three verses there —Abraham, chosen by God to raise up a nation who would then be God's priests to the world so that they would be a blessing to all of the nations.   They had a unique role in the great monotheistic religion. The Jews were supposed to reflect morality to the world. Israel was to witness to the name of God. When they talked about the name of God and witnessing to God's name, that does not mean that they were to let everybody know what they called God, "Yahweh." Their goal wasn't to cover the countryside with evangelists who just let everybody know what the right word for God was. It meant something different.

We talk about the brewery's history, as well as Taste of the Week "Sunnyside Hop," which is a NEIPA. He said this is a "true New England IPA" with no additions. It's one of the brewery's flagship beers since it opened 5 years ago.
