    Trinity Episcopal CathedralDiocese of ArizonaPhoenix, AZJeffrey John is Dean of St Albans. He heads St Albans Cathedral, which is the oldest Christian site in the United Kingdom, the place the place where Britain’s first Christian martyr, Alban, was executed and buried in 303 AD.Jeffrey is a Welsh-speaking Welshman, who was born and brought up in Rhondda, South Wales. He studied Classics, Modern Languages and Theology at Oxford. After a curacy in Wales he returned to Oxford, first to be Chaplain and Lecturer in Theology at Brasenose College, and then became Fellow and Dean of Divinity at Magdalen College. His academic specialism is New Testament Theology. He has also been a parish priest in South London, and immediately before his present job was Canon Theologian of Southwark Cathedral and Director of Ministerial Training in the Southwark Diocese. He has been partnered with Grant, another priest, since 1976. In 2003 he was appointed Bishop of Reading, but was removed from the post by Archbishop Williams when objections were made against his partnership. His books include 'The Meaning in the Miracles', and 'Permanent Faithful Stable: Christian Same-Sex Marriage'.

    Canon Morrison is the Canon for Ecumenical and Community Relations for the Episcopal Diocese ofArizona. His role involves serving as the Episcopal chaplain to the Arizona legislature. He is also an elected director of the Arizona Faith Network. He previously served as Diocesan Chancellor and Chair of the Canons Committee.Canon Morrison is also a lawyer known for his work in his earlier years as a practitioner, writer, and teacher on natural resources law and environmental ethics.A graduate of San Francisco Theological Seminary, he has also served as an officer and/or trustee of three other theological seminaries: Claremont School of Theology in California, Seabury-Western School of Theology in Evanston, IL, and the Church Divinity School of the Pacific in Berkeley, CA.Canon Morrison has served churches in Flagstaff, Chandler, and Tempe.He is married to his wife Elaine. They have two adult daughters.
