Dr. Suzanne Trott get’s insta-rupted today. Dr. Trott is board certified in both plastic and general surgery by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery. She currently serves as an Assistant Professor at the University of California, San Diego Medical Center helping the next generation of doctors learn more about plastic and reconstructive surgery. Dr. Trott has authored and published many articles about her work in plastic and reconstructive surgery.

Dr. Trott is known as the Lipo Queen™ as she works diligently to attain the aesthetic goals of her patients during procedures like liposuction, breast augmentation with implants, tummy tuck, breast augmentation with fat transfer, and injectable wrinkle treatments. She’s also the creator of VIXEN Shapewear and is the first female plastic surgeon to design comfortable shapewear for her patients to wear to improve the patient's contours and enhance compression after surgery. In today’s episode Syd and Dr. Trott reminisce about Syd’s liposuction procedure. Utrotningen av sjukdomen polio från mänskligheten beskrivs av forskaren Kimberley Thompson vid Harvard School of Public health i USA, som en större bedrift än att sätta en man på månen, och har kostat mer. Hör henne och Ukrainas vice hälsominister Igor Pereginets - reportage från ett land där själva vaccinet utlöste ett polioutbrott.Sveriges Radios Johan Bergendorff som bevakar global hälsa rapporterar från Nigeria där en polioepidemi rasar just nu. Följ med till byarna som bojkottar vaccin som ett utpressningsvapen. Idag sprids polio bara i tre länder, Nigeria, Afghanistan och Pakistan. Det var meningen att polio skulle ha utrotats redan i år 2016, den andra sjukdomen i mänsklighetens historia efter smittkoppor 1980.Nu siktar WHO på att polio ska vara utrotat från jordens yta 2018.
