    Understanding Divine Delays: Part 2

    Understanding Divine Delays: Part 2

When you reach a certain age, you begin to perceive the passage of time differently than when you were younger. You recognize that there are fewer days in front of you than behind. You may be tempted to view life with the gravity of age rather than the audacity of youth, and in that light, you may ask, "Where is the promise?" Thank God that Hi has called us to partner with Him in stewarding and navigating time, rather than seeing it as a foe!

    Understanding Divine Delays

    Understanding Divine Delays

Do you feel discouraged after a season of unanswered prayers? Understanding divine delays implies that our fate is inextricably linked to the character of a never-failing God, rather than the outcome of our prayers.

Welcome back to the podcast Bible Fam!! Welcome to Season Two!

In a world where things can often feel uncertain, many of us find comfort and guidance in the wisdom of God's word. Take a moment to reflect with us on Proverbs 3:1-8, which reminds us to trust in Him and follow His plan. This isn't about striving for perfection; it’s about trusting Him and allowing Him to direct our steps.

Today's reading is in Proverbs 3.

Day 242: The Virtue of Faith
The origin, motive, and object of the theological virtues are God himself. Today, we dive into the theological virtues, beginning with the virtue of Faith. Fr. Mike unpacks the meaning and purpose of the virtue of Faith and emphasizes that Faith is deeply rooted in trust in God. Lastly, Fr. Mike reminds us that Faith should be lived out along with Hope, and Love, and also professed to those who do know yet know God. Today’s readings are Catechism paragraphs 1812-1816. This episode has been found to be in conformity with the Catechism by the Institute on the Catechism, under the Subcommittee on the Catechism, USCCB. Trusting In God's Provision Through Prayer, Fasting and Generosity

Trusting In God's Provision Through Prayer, Fasting and Generosity

Message from 10/01/2021 by Chris Zeelie

Chris shares from Matthew 5 and 6 about "God's upsidedown Kingdom" where concepts are opposite to what we as people think. In the passage, Jesus encourages us to stop worrying, seek his kingdom first, and trust in his provision. Also through prayer, fasting, and heartfelt generosity we can bridge the gap.

Daring to Give God My Best

Daring to Give God My Best

Message Preview: “Daring to Give God My Best” (Daring Faith: The Key to Miracles – Part 3). In 2 Timothy 2:3-7 Paul references a soldier, an athlete and a farmer in encouraging Christ-likeness. He writes “Endure hardship with us like a GOOD SOLDIER of Christ Jesus. No one serving as a soldier gets tied up in civilian affairs—he wants to please his commanding officer. Similarly, if anyone competes as AN ATHLETE, he does not receive the victor’s crown unless he competes according to the rules. And the HARDWORKING FARMER should be the first to receive a share of the crops. Think about these three illustrations, and the Lord will help you to understand how they apply to you.” Come hear the rest of the message! We invite you to come join us each week as we gather together to glorify God through fellowship with one another and to study God's Word.
