Welcome to Episode 21 of It Gets Weird. This week, Kyle and Nile have both been sick, so bear with our sniffles as we talk about an internet favorite - tulpas. We talk about the origins of the practice, as well as how our perception of tulpas has changed in modern culture. If you're looking to summon your own tulpa we do talk about pros, cons, and how doing it for the wrong reasons can be a bad thing. Seriously, don't make a malicious tulpa! But to get to the helpless teens, Candyman and Slender Man must first go through each other.

Smashtoberfest continues with the full-time Smash Fiction debut of MeganBob, as we determine which restless apparition can find some way to dispose of his murderous counterpart. Kit and Liz do a lot of static noises and screaming, and Miles finds a way to finally get Dan to say "fuck" on the podcast. Special thanks to Ben Chilton for suggesting this matchup.
