How The Weather Channel Was Born

How The Weather Channel Was Born
It was an idea that began on a napkin, 35 years ago. Meteorologist Ari Sarsalari catches up with one of the founders of The Weather Channel, Tom Moore. The two take a trip down memory lane and compare weather forecasting then and now. Find out why Tom Moore had papercuts on his thumbs when severe weather hit and how early maps were created. What did an early broadcast look like on this 'non-ending weather telethon'?

I used to think Time Warner had to be the biggest ripoff cable company out there... until Spectrum bought them out. Now internet drops constantly. I've been home from work for 20 minutes and I kid you not my internet has dropped 3 times already! It's getting out of hand and I just have to wonder how these kinds of places are allowed sell such bad service. Unfortunately I live in an area where this crappy company is my only option for high speed internet, ** Spectrum.

Money back guarantee is a bunch of baloney. Was promised new customer rate of 44.99 for internet only... It's actually 69.99 after canceling cable... After 3 weeks of phone calls and wasted time, I'm completely and utterly over SPECTRUM. Let's not mention the installer. He didn't hook up one tv, he left my crawl space door open, left his tools and screws in my driveway, NEVER would I recommend Spectrum to anyone.

Brighthouse, Spectrum, Charter whatever name they go under are liars. I got raises after I switch to Spectrum. Service was worse. They just did an update Cable flashed, was out for 3 hours with an Update. Turned on my Tv. Would not go on. Had to get my old tv to turn on the cable. Called Spectrum. Rude vile customer service. Turned them into the FCC.

There are oover 21,000 just that found atr the stroke of a key...

EP 061: United Airlines & Pepsi, Music Streaming & Janet's Gold Digging

EP 061: United Airlines & Pepsi, Music Streaming & Janet's Gold Digging

What it dew Trillions! Back again with Episode 61 of the Truth Be Told Podcast from Trillmatic.com hosted by Riffa & Bigg UU. Thanks for supporting the podcast! Be sure to leave a 5 star review! We kick off this episode that was recorded during a flash flood warning in Central Texas, Killeen to be exact. Bigg UU and Riffa talk about the time they almost died during a flood.

Donald Trump is slinging around America's nuts by dropping Tomahawk missiles all over Syria, after denying Syrian Refugees entry into the country. We also talk about North Korea getting punked by America.

United Airlines may be the worst airline company on the planet right now, after snatching a customer off the flight because they overbooked the flight. The video of the incident has gone viral and United Airlines has to fix their image now. And they're not the only ones. Pepsi has one of the worst reviewed advertisements of all time after bombing with Kendall Jenner. We also talk about why we hate Spectrum and Time Warner Cable.

Ludacris has released the official video for his single 'Vitamin D' featuring Ty Dolla $ign and the only thing people keep talking about is his CG torso. We talked about why people who don't know Ludacris are dumbfounded by his antics. We also reminisce on BET Uncut and why Luda's video wasn't that bad.

Jay Z removed his whole catalog from all of the streaming services like Apple Music and Spotify, to keep it solely on Tidal Music. Is this good or bad for Hov? The streaming wars continue.

Janet Jackson just pulled one of the coldest golddigger moves on her now divorced husband. It comes off like a cash grab but there are still people praising her for her moves. It all comes down to the prenuptials.

The trailer to Marvel Studios' Thor: Ragnarok is out and it looks pretty fire. We talk about why this one looks the best. Riffa speaks on the Tupac movie and Bigg UU releases a spoiler from the movie. We also talk if new music from Pac could be on the way and what it would be like with new age features.

Trustworthy Computing Sponsors the Security Bloggers Network
I am very pleased to report that once again the good folks over at Microsoft's Trustworthy Computing Group have agreed to sponsor the Security Bloggers Network.  The SBN has a long history of working with TWC and we are happy to work with them again. Microsoft is holding their second annual Security Development Conference in San Francisco, May 14-15, 2013. The conference will feature Scott Charney, Corporate VP Trustworthy Computing, Microsoft; Edna M Conway, Chief Security Strategist Global Supply Chain, Cisco Systems; Brad Arkin, Senior Director of Security Adobe Secure Software, Engineering Team (ASSET). Conference specialty tracks target three different types of professionals: Engineers, Project Management, and Leadership. Combining keynotes from thought leaders as well as specialized breakout sessions, this conference is a can’t-miss for security professionals at any level. You can register now! I had a chance to chat with director of TWC Tim Raines. We were going to talk about the conference, but Tim and I started talking about the TWC, the world of security and what the challenges on the horizon are. By the time we were done, we never got to the conference, LOL! Anyway, I think you will find the conversation very interesting. Enjoy and if you can go to the conference.
