First, Shari sits down with critically acclaimed Chef/Owner Will Goldfarb of Room4Dessert, a dessert tasting menu restaurant on the outskirts of Ubud. Will, who has worked in the kitchens of Ferran Adria, Tetsuya Wakuda, Paul Liebrandt, and Morimoto, among others, is originally from New York State. He trained at Le Cordon Bleu before working at elBulli as Pastry Chef. Will opened Room4Dessert in New York prior to relocating the restaurant to Bali. He has a new book, Room for Dessert (Phaidon), and is featured on his own episode of the Netflix series, Chef’s Table: Pastry (4/13/18). Next, Shari chats with Chef/Co-Owner Ray Adriansyah of Locavore, a tasting menu restaurant featuring modern cuisine with the finest locally sourced seasonal produce. Ray founded Locavore in the heart of Ubud with his business partner, Chef Eelke Plasmeijer. The restaurant has been named one of Asia's Best 50 Restaurants.
