Cobi Jones is an icon of men's soccer in the United States.  He came to the scene during a time when soccer in the US started the boom that led to what it is today...a continuously massively growing sport in this country.

After starring at UCLA, he went to England and then Brazil to play professionally.  He played for the US in the 1994, 1998, and 2002 World Cups and had a lengthy career with LA Galaxy, starting with that club at the beginning of Major League Soccer in 1996.

During this interview Cobi talks about his journey in the different sports he played and how his parents supported him on and off the field.  He's the father of two young boys and Cobi and Gabe of course delve into his experience as a parent of athletes, as well as his opinions on different aspects of youth soccer.
